First Aid and CPR/AED Training
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Canadian Red Cross and the WISB have temporarily allowed the first component of the Blended Learning courses, which is done completely online, to act as a STANDALONE certificate of completion which will be valid for 90 days. You can take this course and use the certificate of completion as a verifiable document to show as a pre-requisite for your purposes. PLEASE NOTE: This is only a temporary allowance that can be used during the COVID-19 pandemic to get you moving: you will still be required to complete the in-class portion within 90 days to bridge the certificate of completion to your official certification.

Standard First Aid and CPR/AED level C two day training: CAD 100 (Certificate last for three years)
Standard First Aid and CPR/AED level BLS two-day training: CAD 100 (Certificate last for one year)
Blended Online Courses
Blended learning is a combination of in-class, face-to-face instruction with online instruction. Typically, theory and information with online information are conveyed to participants outside of the classroom through an online component. This allows for the in-class component to concentrate on skill development and the application of the theory. In the case of Red Cross First Aid courses, a self-paced, online session is completed first, followed by an in-class skills session with Red Cross First Aid Instructor.
